How to be a part of Escuela Verde
Thank you for your interest in Escuela Verde!
As a public charter school, Escuela Verde is open to all students living in the city of Milwaukee. We currently have a waiting list for the 2025-2026 school year. You may still apply for the waiting list using the form below. Our school year begins August 4th and we will reach out to families on the waiting list as soon as possible starting in August.
All prospective students are asked to participate in a Shadow Day before admission into Escuela Verde. To sign up for the next Shadow Day, please fill out an online application or fill out a paper copy at EV. Please call the school at (414) 988-7960 to sign up for the next available date after application is completed.
All student applications submitted between September 1, 2025 through December 12, 2025 are considered for our early enrollment. If there are more applicants than seats, applications will be drawn via a public lottery. If there are more seats than applications, all applicants are accepted.
Our second round of enrollment is from January 5th through April 3rd, 2026.
Public lotteries, if necessary, will be held on December 15th and April 6th. After the lotteries, applicants may be placed on our waiting list and admitted based on available seats.
Siblings of existing Escuela Verde students are given preference. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
